ITALY CYCLING TRIP 2023 - September 10-17, 2023

We gave an immense amount of thought to exactly where we wanted to go to in Italy in order to provide the most amazing experience for a small group of riders.

Our choice was clear, the Venito region in the north.

With the Pre-Alps and Dolomites as our beautifully present backdrop, we couldn’t resist this amazing cycling and cultural area of Italy.

The Prosecco wine region, Mt. Grappa, and the nearby Brenta River all provide one of a kind cycling experiences that are each unique and truly Italian.

What Italy trip wouldn’t be complete without the food!  You will be treated to some of the finest Italian cuisine of the region to both prepare you for the riding and celebrate the routes after.

Espresso, vino, fine Italian food, beautiful mountain roads, great cycling, fun friends, what could be finer?  We look forward to seeing you in Italy!

The Brentan river is one of the most famous rivers in Italy and rightfully so. Group A will then roll to the start of the unusual 7km Passo san Boldo climb. Your reward at the top is the incredible switchback tunnel system created in the early 1900’s.   After the climb which this past year’s Giro went over, we descend the 18 switch backs to the base and return over the rolling terrain of the wine country back towards the hotel.

Group B will roll through the vineyards after a coffee stop in Valmarino and ride over lightly traveled roads, experiencing one of the most incredible and unknown wine regions in Italy!

Very little traffic and mild climbs, the serenity of this area makes for one of the more beautiful rides of the week which we call “The Sound of Music”.

Group B has a very unique ride planned. A one way trip up the Brenton river valley, exploring all the small villages along the way. Don’t worry about how far you are getting away from our hotel, the group is taking the train back to Bassano! How fun is that!
